What

The CSA (Community Supported / Community Shared Agriculture) model has become a common form of distribution amongst small scale growers. Community members commit at the beginning of the year to take part in the farm’s CSA and in return receive produce weekly during the season.

Why

Farmers have the bulk of their costs in the late winter, early spring as they are planning for their upcoming season. A CSA provides the farmer with the money they need to get their season planned. This includes things like seed costs, compost, equipment etc!

How

Once you have paid you can rest assured that come the season you will be eating the fields’ bounty. On a weekly basis you will be getting fresh, local, fruit and vegetables!

Small Share- $434- 5 to 7 vegetables- For smaller households.

Regular Share- $555- 7 to 9 vegetables- Suited to families or veggie-loving couples.

Large Share- $729- 8 to 11 vegetables- For larger families or smaller veggie-loving households.

We’ve got multiple pick-up locations and dates!

Our CSA starts mid to late June and runs for 17 weeks until mid to late October.

Access to fresh and local food is important for everyone to have. Vintage Soil does not want to create barriers - SHE wants to break them.

 

Cost should never be a barrier to fresh, local, fruit and vegetables. Vintage Soil therefore is open to accepting payment plans on a case by case basis.
